Q: I need some black custom metal brackets to mount the beams for wooden shade structures my company is building. Can you make those?
A: Yes! We have seen many instances where contractors have simply made available brackets work. As we only do custom work, we can cut and paint brackets to your exact specifications. We can also have your brackets powder-coated in a variety of colors if you prefer. Please contact us to let us know what you need.
Q: Does Lasersmith Fabrication do metal repairs?
A: Yes! Our AWS-certified welder is set up to weld TIG, MIG, and stick as well as laser welding, so we can make repairs on anything from stainless steel to bronze. Bring us your broken metal furniture, lawn ornaments, storage tanks, etc., and we can give you a quote. Cost estimates are based on the time it takes to properly make the repair.
Q: Can Lasersmith Fabrication clean the rust off my old metal lawn furniture?
A: We sure can! We have laser cleaning machines and a sandblasting cabinet capable of stripping rust, paint, and other finishes off of metal pieces. Bring your item to our shop at 2000 E. Lincoln Ave. in Fort Collins, CO, for a quote.
Q: Can I order metal signs/decorations based on a drawing I did?
A: Yes! We can create custom designs and even use something you drew yourself. Provided images may be simplified and/or modified to match the capabilities of our equipment, but we will get your full approval before beginning any project. Larger images with high resolutions import more cleanly into the CNC plasma and laser computer programs. Please visit our shop or contact us to talk about your custom metal sign or decoration with our metal fabrication experts.
Q: I’ve seen fire pits at your shop. Where do those come from?
A: We build all our outdoor fire pits for sale right here in our shop. We often have floor models available for purchase, but we can also create a custom metal fire pit for you to match your specific function and design needs. Talk to us about what you’re looking for.
Q: I have a fire pit base that needs a new bowl/insert. Can you create a new one that will fit in my current fire pit?
A: Absolutely! We have helped several customers whose fire pit inserts had burned or rusted through by offering custom fire pit bowls.
Q: Can Lasersmith Fabrication make me a Broncos-themed fire pit or metal wall piece?
A: Due to artwork copyright infringement concerns, we cannot use trademarked logos and designs not owned by the customer, such as sports team logos, on our custom metal pieces.
Q: Do you have examples of your work I can take a look at?
A: Of course! If you’re curious about the kinds of metalwork we do, you can visit our gallery page or visit us in person. We have many metal art pieces in our showroom, including wall decor, fire pits, snow gauges, holiday/seasonal items, and more.
Q: Where is the Lasersmith Fabrication shop located?
A: Lasersmith Fabrication shares a shop location with the Koi Lagoon, our parent company. If you visit 2000 E Lincoln Ave. or call us at 970-484-9162, you will reach both the Koi Lagoon and Lasersmith Fabrication. Our employees can help you with either side and direct you to the custom metal team as needed.
